Shift care nursing is provided to children and adults who have complex conditions and chronic illnesses. In this service, nurses and home health aides rotate up to a maximum of 24 hours in the comfort of the patients’ homes and/or schools. It is a program that allows patients to receive the care they need at home instead of being in a skilled nursing facility or sub-acute facility.
